Photograph 90 bird species and raise your own macaw

The Birders is a free birdwatching simulator for iOS and Android. It starts at home with your macaw: you watch him hatch, raise him and teach him to talk. Then you head out to six real parks, from Hawaii to the Po Delta, to photograph birds.
It all starts at home, with your macaw
Your new home has a room just for him. Watch him hatch, make his food, bathe him and furnish his room. Talk to him and he learns words and commands. It's a bit like having a Tamagotchi, except you're raising a parrot, day by day.
How to raise your macaw

Birds true to life
Every bird is made to look as close as possible to the real one, down to the typical movements of its species. So when you see it in the wild, you'll recognize it.
Every bird in its own park
Each species lives in the park where you'd find it in real life, and every park has birds you won't find in the others.

In the right spots
You photograph birds in specific spots in the park, the same places where they're easiest to see in the wild.
All the birds in the game
90 species in six parks, each with its own rarity. Pick a park and see who you can photograph.
Real parks for birdwatching
The six parks in the game really exist and are among the best places in the world for birdwatching. Every scene is built from a real photo of the park.
[ Delta del Po Park ]The parks and nature conservation
Protecting nature matters a lot to us. In the game's compendium you'll find facts and stories about every park, so you can see why these places need protecting.
[ Hawaii Park ]Challenge other birdwatchers to a photo duel
Duels with players from around the world
In The Birders you take on players from all over the world: whoever takes the best photo wins. Every win earns you trophies, and the more trophies you have, the higher you climb in the rankings. The higher you climb, the more rewards you get.

Packs of cameras and bird cards
In the game you open packs with cameras and bird cards, which you use to level them up. At a higher level you score more in duels and can photograph from closer up, so you get a better look at the bird you're watching.

Level up and take better photos
To level up a camera or a bird you need several copies of the same card. You win packs by playing or buy them in the shop. With better gear it's easier to win duels and climb the rankings.
Suitable for Kids
There are only a few rules and you learn them as you play, so The Birders works well for kids too. And while they play, they learn to recognize real birds.

Play and learn
In the compendium every species you photograph has its own page, with its song, a 3D model and some fun facts. That way kids get to know birds better and learn to respect animals and nature.
The species compendium
The compendium is your travel journal: it shows your progress in the game, 3D models of the birds, their songs and facts about the parks. Birds and scenes unlock as you play.

Competitive mode
If you like a challenge, The Birders has that too. Two players compete to take the best photo, and the best players make it into the world rankings, with prizes and special rewards. There are also daily and weekly missions that give rewards and help you level up, and world competitions with even bigger prizes.
